He is passionate about innovation, disruption and business models and is keen to disrupt the recruitment function through greater automation and by bringing together the entire interim recruitment ecosystem. He is keen on using machine learning and AI to help the matchmaking and assessment process simpler and easier for Interim job seekers and In-house teams.
Simon had a highly successful corporate career in the technology industry including roles in major account sales, sales management, people development and business transformation, culminating in his final role as a director of NCR in the UK. Since then he has worked as an interim manager, consultant, coach, facilitator, trainer and speaker for the past twenty. His clients have spanned many industries including technology, financial services, government, healthcare and professional services and include organisations such as Intel, SGI, HSBC, Cobham, Ace, Clifford Chance, Dentsu-Aegis and the NHS. In addition, he has worked with over 2500 interim managers and consultants to help them build successful independent careers. Online role applications have long been a time-consuming and somewhat confusing process for interim managers and Interimarket are aiming to change that. I am pleased to be involved in helping them make that a reality!
Keith is currently at Rolls Royce undertaking his second interim assignment as Group Head of Talent, Leadership Development, OD and TA while a permanent hire is found. This follows an interim assignment at Aviva. Prior to this Keith was at eBay, Barclays, HSBC and held extremely senior positions where he drove strategy, managed large teams and took pivotal business decisions. With his previous experience of working in the tech sector and ongoing involvement, he was intrigued to see the start of Interimarket given his own career choice also to pursue an interim career! Meeting Bhumi and seeing her passion and energy to create a platform which could bring interims and employers together seemed to be a very smart and exciting idea! He is keen to leverage his 37+ years of working globally to see how he could help support InteriMarket’s ambitious plans in disrupting and serving a large and growing Interim Industry.
Melanie has over 20 years’ experience in HR across a broad spectrum of organisations and recognisable brands, including FTSE 100 companies and Central Government. She has worked closely with politicians, CEOs and third party suppliers. Most recently she was the Interim People Change Director at Boots Opticians. Before joining Boots Opticians she worked at Royal Sun Alliance as HR Director to the Group Corporate Services; and prior to this Melanie was HR Director for the Cabinet Office which supports the Prime Minister and Deputy Ministry and is Head Office for Government. Melanie also worked for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as HR Director to the Corporate IT Function. Prior to that, she was at Unilever in the HR Transformation Team, the largest HR outsourcing deal, in partnership with Accenture. Melanie also spent 14 years at the Ministry of Defence (MOD), including four years in Germany supporting the Armed Forces, establishing an HR function. She also held a number of key roles at MOD Head Office in London. Melanie is also a Non-Executive Director at the English Lacrosse Association and Chair of the Remuneration committee.
Rahul Chakkara is the Managing Director of the Other Group - an independent creative agency based in London. He has extensive digital experience as Chief Digital Officer/ Director of Digital in the media/ travel/ telecom sectors. Rahul started his career with Procter & Gamble in Germany. Rahul has seen interim roles increasingly becoming the preferred choice for many in the digital and related sectors.
